Politics are causing a great deal of consternation and the relevance of what happens on a daily basis is questionable.
When Governor of Minnesota, former Navy Seal and pro wrestler, Jesse Ventura said the governorship was much like his second career. People put on a show like they're killing each other and then go to the bar together, after the event. In other words, it is all for show.
He also said that politicians should have to wear coveralls like NASCAR drivers, so you can see who is sponsoring them.
Politicians can influence our lives but not as much as many of us believe.
The news media makes the pot boil, in order to maintain viewership. The more they can frighten you or cause you to be angry, the more time of viewership they can sell to their advertisers.
Don't be manipulated into believing in the fray. Think for yourself and keep it all in perspective. Otherwise, you may begin suffering from "news anxiety", which is a growing mental health problem.
